Hi my name is Danielle and i am a Tasmanian Artist.
I started DF Portraiture & Design in 2015 when I established myself as a portraiture artist.
I specialise in drawing portraits of people and animals.
I also do various other arts such as; paintings and designing pins that are all inspired by the native flora and fauna that I love. I have created some pin designs that have been inspired by the trout fishing in Tasmania, which is one of the best trout fishing spots in the world.
In 2019 I created a fly box pin to celebrate the World Fly Fishing Championship that was held here in Tasmania (Currently Available)
I also created a pin of my favourite animal, The Tasmanian Devil. I have a deep love for our iconic devil that still has a big risk of becoming extinct. There are a few organisations and foundations that are there to fight against our devil from becoming extinct. One of my favourite foundations is the Devils in Danger Foundation INC (no longer active) I wanted my business to be a part of that. For every one of my Pepperberry Devil Pins sold, $2 has been donated to their foundation. (All Pepperberry Devil Pins have been sold)
In the future I plan on doing more art pieces and pins that will have donation contributions, to help our Tasmanian wildlife.
